We hosted a Regional KWPN-NA Meeting at the farm in New Hampshire 4-6 April. Special guest flying in from the Netherlands was KWPN Official Marian Dorresteijn. She explained linear scoring on several mares and gave the audience interesting clinics, also with stallions Premier SSF and Floris SSF under saddle. Marian and Scot gave tips and advice on breeding and how to choose the right stallion for your mares. They also talked about how the KWPN works in general.
Horse Whisperer Tracy McReynolds worked with a 3-year-old gelding and managed to back him within an hour, which was so wonderful to watch. The impressive approved Dutch Harness Macho was ridden by Erin Duffy under saddle for the first time in public after only 6 weeks of training and with this, showed his great character. The 10-year-old son of Erin and Bill Duffy – Jack – drove their other Dutch Harness stallion Atleet preferent which was the icing on the cake.
