Marcus is Orchis’s last colt, whom we had also retained as a stallion prospect.  And, as I mentioned in Mamet SSF’s description, due to all the Roemer in our pedigrees, we’ve tested our breeding stock for WFFS.  Marcus is also a carrier. I like this colt better and better every day. He is balanced, athletic, and super pretty, and I’m convinced the quality TB in his pedigree makes him super interesting as a breeding horse. Since he’s Orchis’s last foal, and her last opportunity to produce a stallion, I will hold off gelding him for a bit, but we are offering Marcus for sale to a sport home. Orchis is only one point away from her prestatie predicate, and I know this colt can achieve that for her.
