“Davey” is one of the best-moving horses we’ve bred to date, and we had retained him as a stallion prospect.  Given all the Roemer we have in our pedigrees, and the frenzy surrounding WFFS, we tested all our breeding horses. Davey is a carrier.  I still think he’s stallion material, but I know how difficult it is to stand a stallion in North America.  Starting with one strike against him will just make marketing him as a breeding horse all the more difficult. Consequently, we’ve decided to offer him for sale.  If someone is interested in a breeding prospect, then he is a viable option, though we will geld him in the near future.  If someone is interested in a top dressage prospect, he’s even more interesting. He will be a very expensive four year old under saddle.
