Galearites’ Story

Galearites SSF If ever I’ve had a “heart horse”, Galearites is the mare. I love this girl and have since the moment she was born. She’s really my “dream come true” horse. The moment I saw Totilas at the KWPN Stallion Show in 2010, I was a goner—I had to have one. When his owners decided to finally stand him at stud, but only to a pre-selected group of mares with only 10 breedings going to North America… I applied. It was a huge risk. But, I believed. “Mazey” is all I could have hoped for. She’s elegant and super talented—plus, she has an amazingly sensitive and intelligent brain.

At her first keuring, she was top ster mare of the keuring, keur-elible, and top four in North America. The next year, with Jane Hannigan, Galearites went on to complete her IBOP, scoring higher than any North American mare ever, 85.5. Even including all the mares in Holland, she scored in the top three of all Dutch mares of her year. With this success, she claimed her Keur predicate. In 2017, she has produced one ET colt by Uno Don Diego, Milestone SSF, who has sold to a dynamite mother and daughter dressage duo in Colorado. In 2018, she delivered Nobilites SSF, a stunning filly by Borsalino. In 2019, On Top SSF was born, a colt by For Romance I. In 2021, she gave birth to Regalites SSF by Jovian. We’re maintaining this one for our program. In 2023, Mazey brought us the filly Tenacites SSF by So Perfect, followed by another filly, Uphorites SSF, this year by our own stallion Premier SSF. She is very special too and I’m considering keeping her. Just have to convince Carol.
